Circledance
by Rasha

In this land there is a circle
Of wings and calm, clear eyes
Of smiles and laughter, tears and comfort
All beneath our sheltering skies
As time passes the circle wheels
The music shifts, the dancers change
Farewells, returns, moments of triumph
Scale colors deepen as dancers age
I never thought that I would find a home
A place that I would truly belong
But here in the circle I have found my place
That always waits for me when I'm gone
I cannot describe my happiness
To be among friends who truly care
Uplifted and protected as I never dreamed
Part of the circle, we dance in the air
